Earlier today I was at Gamestop after eating some Chinese food with my sister and her son, and since Gamestop is next door it's the general consensus that perusing is mandatory. Basically I picked up Silent Hill 3 (not a first choice, I wanted Okami but the guy working couldn't find the game in the drawers) which I've beaten numerous times, but still quite enjoy. Also, I picked up Shadow of the Colossus, which I've gotten only part way through (last time, the turtle thing at the arena beat my ass), and Obscure: The Aftermath.
So far, the game is pretty cute. It's a little full of cheesy/stereotypical college stoner dialogue, which honestly is not terribly annoying, just amusing and a little eye-roll worthy. Then again, I am only at the very beginning, having broken into the frat party where monsters are a' nom-noming the students. The controls are so far very easy to use and take a minuscule amount of time to master (whereas I can remember violent reactions to the controls in RE4 and Silent Hill games, while good and master-able, felt very odd at first.).
I must go back to playing. Deep inside my heart is wishing for more gore. MORE GORE!
