Right, so that game was brutal. Not in that it was particularly difficult, nor did it take more than 2 days to complete, but wow. (SPOILER ALERT REITERATION)
Did they really all have to die like that?? Even being used to writers like Stephen King, who doesn't give two fucks who he kills, it made me have a sadface. Perhaps it is because I am still tender after re-watching Buffy, or because I'm a wuss and about half the commercials I see make me tear up, but I was lip-wobbly at a lot of parts of the game. Others, I was pissed.
Mostly, I love gore :D And EASY puzzles, yo. Easy.

Just Picked Up a Copy of Obscure: The Aftermath (Spoilers Ahead)
Earlier today I was at Gamestop after eating some Chinese food with my sister and her son, and since Gamestop is next door it's the general consensus that perusing is mandatory. Basically I picked up Silent Hill 3 (not a first choice, I wanted Okami but the guy working couldn't find the game in the drawers) which I've beaten numerous times, but still quite enjoy. Also, I picked up Shadow of the Colossus, which I've gotten only part way through (last time, the turtle thing at the arena beat my ass), and Obscure: The Aftermath.
So far, the game is pretty cute. It's a little full of cheesy/stereotypical college stoner dialogue, which honestly is not terribly annoying, just amusing and a little eye-roll worthy. Then again, I am only at the very beginning, having broken into the frat party where monsters are a' nom-noming the students. The controls are so far very easy to use and take a minuscule amount of time to master (whereas I can remember violent reactions to the controls in RE4 and Silent Hill games, while good and master-able, felt very odd at first.).
I must go back to playing. Deep inside my heart is wishing for more gore. MORE GORE!

I heard you like blogs so I'm blogging about my blog so you can read a blog about blogging about a blog.
I definately need to change this background. D: I suppose I could rid the page of Kyo's glorious back, but...well, no. :)
I don't know what else to say, except the background image is done in the Japanese wood painting style called ukiyoe. The image, http://images.pingmag.jp/images/article/ukiyoe-ghost01.jpg for after I remove it, was done by Utagaway Kuniyoshi. HE KICKS ASS. I'm getting a tattoo of a piece of his. Still deciding what...but I have a strong liking to one of them.
That's all for now.
